I’ve tried quite a few products over the years, and I’ve developed my go to’s, which I’ll do a later post on, but my current obsession / Holy Grail?! Erno Laszlo.
I’ve been using Erno Laszlo products for about a year now and I’m a big fan. I haven’t experienced any dry patches while using these products, which is a huge plus, given my dry/combination skin. My favourite is the R.E.M night cream (pictured below). It’s very rich and moisturizing, and the next morning it leaves my skin feeling firm and supple. The R.E.M day lotion is great because it’s light, moisturizing, has SPF 30 and plays well with makeup. My number one toner is soft clean hydrating lotion from Estee Lauder. Especially in this dry Calgary climate and in the winter months. Sometimes after I cleanse, my face feels tight, like it’s thirsty. Using this toner right after I cleanse, I can almost feel my face doing a happy dance.
I have used the Mia 2 from Clarisonic for about 5 years or so. It’s amazing! It ensures I get all my makeup off and my skin feels clean without feeling stripped. I’ve only ever used the sensitive brush head, but I’m giving the deep pore cleansing brush head a shot next. My first Mia 2 stopped holding a charge last year. I called Clarisonic and they sent me a replacement right away at no cost to me. I was outside the 2 year warranty period by 2 years, talk about great customer service!
