So I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect trench coat for some time. It’s been months, maybe even a few years of searching. I knew it had to be structured and different from the classic tan/black with just the right edge to it. I had almost given up, it was going to be the right trench or bust.
Well while we were wandering the beautiful shops at the Galeries Lafayette I fell in love, which is so fitting in the city of love ha.
This double-breasted corduroy beauty is Barbara and she’s from the French label APC. My half done up boots, in my favourite colour, are John Fluevog and are the Adriana Nuni.
The Corduroy is perfect for Calgary on those winter days that are above -10C. It’s warm and because of the boxy-ness, I can wear lots of layers underneath or wrap it tight to hug my body.
What are you currently on the hunt for? My advice, don’t give up it might turn up when you least expect it 🙂
